he Northland Gay Men's Center is an all-volunteer organization that was
established in 1992 to fulfill the expressed needs of gay and bisexual men in
the Duluth/Superior area.  It is a chemical-free, smoke-free environment in
which you can get support, socialize, participate in various programs and
events...or just hang out!

The NGMC membership has grown to nearly 400 with our programs being
accessed by people from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin,
Michigan and Minnesota. In addition, with Duluth being a popular tourist
destination, we have the pleasure of welcoming a number of gay visitors from
around the country, each year.

Whether you live near or far, we would like to welcome you to visit the

The mission of the Northland Gay Men's Center is to provide information,
referral and support in an atmosphere of caring, openness and tolerance of
diversity for all persons of our region regardless of sexual orientation or
identity.

Furthermore, the Northland Gay Men's Center seeks to work with the
community-at-large to end oppression and discrimination and create a positive
environment of physical and mental well-being, while building solidarity in the
gay community.  Our goal is to provide gay, bisexual and transgender men a
sense of community and an avenue to explore and affirm their life in
an environment free from the external influences of chemicals and a
judgmental society.
